Long lines of generous donors turned out to Goodwill locations across the state to take advantage of end-of-year tax write offs and to Do Some Good for our community on the last day of the year. These "procrastinators" were rewarded with hot cocoa and cookies as Goodwill locations prepared for what is traditionally the busiest donation day of the year.

These "procrastinators" were rewarded with hot cocoa and cookies as Goodwill locations prepared for what is traditionally the busiest donation day of the year.
More than 30, 000 individuals donated goods to Goodwill between December 26 and December 31 - 10,000 of whom showed up on December 31.
"We are so grateful that the community came out that week to support Goodwill and the people who need thier support the most," said Tim Welker, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Denver. "Revenue from goods sold in Goodwill stores goes to support our programs in the community that help over 30,000 individuals plan a successful future and a rewarding career."
Goodwill will continue to accept donations throughout the year at all 17 Goodwill retail store locations and 11 donation centers. For more information about Goodwill's stores, programs or locations, please visit: www.goodinyou.org or call 303-650-7700.
