The Good Exchange for Change Clothing Swap sponsored by Goodwill Industries of Denver and hosted by The Parlour Hair Salon was a fabulous night for all!The Parlour is a lovely little salon offering different services that hosted a way for customers to give back to the community. Guests brought in at least 10 items each to be included in the swap, while also having the opportunity to receive a free makeup/hair styling and massage!
The night featured good music, fabulous appetizers, drinks and upscale swapping for a good cause! Attendees got to munch, drink, chat and look on as the donations were divvied up, hung and set in order.
After a short video presentation that told the stories of people in the community impacted by Goodwill programs, fashion show began! Clothes worn by the models were auctioned off to benefit Goodwill.
In about a 2 hour span, I got to enjoy a great evening, get rid of stuff I don’t need – that others loved AND come home with a few killer items that I will cherish.

Here are a few of my wins:
My new favorite color BAM bag: Can you believe how lucky I got?! I waited a good ½ hour before even approaching the purse stand. I was certain that would disappear in a second, but there it was calling to me. Guess what? I’ve already moved my items into this thing, as I am IN LOVE! This $55.00 bag became my new companion and that alone was worth more than what I brought because I actually want this item, it is exactly what I’ve been looking for!

And THEN someone put this sweater down that actually GOES with the BAM (http://www.bagsbuy.com/bam-bags-the-original-zippurse-handbag/234763/502...) bag and fits exactly into my fashion right now. This beautiful long sweater is Isshu clothing, of which I can find NOTHING about it online, which means I have a rare find, something nobody really has any of (or so I hope). I will feel oh so chic in my new duds!
