Shop, Save, Support

When you shop at Goodwill thrift stores in Denver a lot of great things happen . . .

  1. You always get a great deal
  2. You get a one-on-a-kind item
  3. You might find a hidden treasure
  4. And the Good in You helps others with the Will to Do by supporting many Goodwill Community Programs (see details below)

So where does the money go?

The money raised from your shopping purchase allows Goodwill to support 30,000 people in our community each year through a wide variety of programs that were specifically designed to address the unique needs of our community.

This includes our high school career development program which employs teachers who work in 26 area high schools in our community and help 26,000 teenagers annually get the education and training they need to get a good career.

It also helps us cover overhead expenses for programs such as work options for the disabled and adult job training and placement that helps 4,500 adults each year gain the skills they need to get off welfare.

In addition, Goodwill stores employ nearly 600 people in our community who need this job to support themselves and their family. In fact, 70% of the people employed in Goodwill stores are either economically disadvantaged or disabled.

So every time you shop at a Goodwill thrift store in Denver a lot of great things happen to you and your community.
